United Way of Illinois Public Policy Overview
United Way of Illinois knows that real and sustainable change in a community requires more than money. United Way actively engages decision-makers and policy leaders at the local, state and national levels. Partnerships with other nonprofit leaders, government and the private sector help us address the community's most important needs.
Public policy advocacy involves:

- Reviewing legislation and monitoring government
